There are a few differences between Bubbleshare, Flickr, and Photobucket. However, I think they are all pretty similar. The biggest difference I found between them is how hard or easy they are to use. Bubbleshare seemed pretty self explanatory while photobucket seemed a little more complex. I thought Flickr was right in between Bubbleshare and Photobucket.
These online sharing tools are great sources for the classroom however you have to be careful when using them. When looking up images inappropriate images that should not be viewed by children are often found. If you are careful there are still very useful ways to using online sharing tools in the classroom. In my classroom I would use Flickr for pen pals. It would be a great way for the students to be able to communicate with other students across the world. It would also allow them to upload pictures to share with their pen pal. They would not necessarily have to use search to send pictures. They could use their own pictures to upload and send which would reduce the chance the students had of coming across inappropriate images.

Geoemtry IPhoto Assignment
IPhoto Geometry Book:
I thought this was a great assignment. It was fun and easy to do. I think it would be a great activity to use in the upper levels of elementary. I could see it being a little complex for third graders, but it would be great for fourth or fifth grade.
It amazes me how much kids know about technology now a days. It might be easier for them to figure out how to use iphoto than learning the geometrical concepts. Because they might spend more time learning geometrical concepts than iphoto, I would make sure to cover everything before we even began iphoto. Maybe the iphoto assignment could be used as a final project to show what they have learned, rather than a method of teaching it.
